After several years of having several photos published in magazines I finally have my first cover photo. Pretty excited and hope for more.

Pangborn Memorial Airport Mass Casualty Drill
Every 3 years our local airport must simulate a mass casualty incident. This year they used a school bus as the aircraft that had crash landed with about 70 passengers on board. There were about 50 volunteers who had shown up at 6:00 in the morning to get made up as victims. They each had a tag explaining what their injury was and then transported out to the site. The incident was toned out and was responded to by our local fire districts, law enforcement, ambulance companys and Red Cross.
High Rope Rescue Training
Chelan County Fire District #1 took part in a High Rope Rescue training at Alcoa Wenatchee Works Plant located about 12 miles SE of Wenatchee, WA.

A couple of teenage boys were playing with fireworks and tossed them out of the bedroom window. They landed in the juniper bushes down below and off the fire went. The fire departments were able to make a quick knock down of the fire and protect the nearby buildings but it was still an estimated $1 million dollar fire.
Baker Flats Structure Fire in Douglas County, WA.
A structure fire on Baker Flats in Douglas County, WA. This was a 3 alarm fire which destroyed 3 houses and several antique cars and a 18 wheel tractor.
620 Palouse Street Structure Fire
On the evening of 8-4-11 we had a structure fire which claimed the lives of 2 small boys 4 and 6 years of age. It was so tragic to loose these young kids. By the time firefighters arrived the house was totally involved with flames coming out of most of the windows on both floors of this 2 story rental house.
Wildland Training Drill
It’s that time of year again where we do our wildland training. We are late this year on our wildland fires because of the wet spring and cool summer so far. Our wildfires may finally get started in August so we need to be ready.
